The Dongfeng Thunder EV is a compact pure electric SUV under the Dongfeng Fengxing brand, offering a CLTC range of 410km to 630km and equipped with a Level 2 intelligent driving assistance system.

The Dongfeng Thunder EV offers multiple versions to cover different budgets and needs:

2024 410 Series: Focuses on economy and practicality, with a CLTC range of 410km, suitable for short-distance urban commuting.

2023 430 Series: 430km range, balancing range with basic intelligent features.

2023 630 Series: A high-end version with a 630km range, equipped with Level 2+ driving assistance and a ternary lithium battery, suitable for long-distance travel.

A new 820km range version will be added in the 2025 model, but this is subject to official release.

Range and Performance

Range: Offers three range options under CLTC conditions: 410km, 430km, and 630km. The 630km version uses an 85.9kWh ternary lithium battery and supports fast charging (approximately 0.62 hours to charge from 30% to 80%).

Performance: All models feature a front-mounted single motor with a maximum power of 150kW and a peak torque of 340N·m. It accelerates from 0-100km/h in 7.9 seconds and is equipped with Huawei's TMS 2.0 heat pump system to improve range stability in winter.

Configuration and Features

Intelligent Technology: The Pro+/Ultra versions come standard with L2+ level driving assistance, including adaptive cruise control, lane centering, and automatic parking.

All models feature a 10.25-inch dual-screen display, supporting the Tencent HMI 2.0 interactive system, voice control, and OTA upgrades. Space Design: Vehicle dimensions are 4600×1860×1680mm (4570mm for some versions), wheelbase 2715mm, flat rear floor, trunk capacity expandable to 1300L.

Safety and Comfort: Standard features include a 360° surround view camera and tire pressure monitoring; higher trim levels offer heated/ventilated seats, wireless phone charging, and 220V external power outlet functionality.
