Moving to the looks, the Forthing Friday has the sleek and sporty design you’d expect from a flagship EV. The sharp LED DRLs are accentuated by the black-colored trim housing the LED headlights and fog lights. Moving to the side, the Forthing Friday rides on stylish two-tone 19-inch alloy wheels that match the side skirts. At the back, the Forthing Friday has a radical rear end, with the main attraction being the wraparound LED lights that match the rear door’s cuts and curves.
Powertrain
The front-wheel drive Forthing Friday is equipped with a front-mounted electric motor generating 201 horsepower and 340 Nm of torque. In its configuration with a 57.8kWh battery pack, it boasts an approximate range of 430 kilometers. Meanwhile, the version equipped with an 85.9kWh battery pack extends its estimated range to around 630 kilometers.
Interior
Inside the Friday EV are a duo of digital displays on the dashboard. One functions as the instrument panel and multi-info display, while the other is a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system. The latter offers Bluetooth and USB connectivity and can also play videos. Additional amenities comprise a dual-zone automatic climate control system with rear A/C vents, power-adjustable seats, and leather upholstery.
Safety
Being a flagship EV, the Forthing Friday is equipped with an array of modern safety features. These include an anti-theft system, automatic door locks, anti-lock brakes (ABS), an electronic stability program (ESP), traction control, hill-climb assist, automatic parking, a reversing camera, front and rear parking sensors, a 360-degree camera, lane departure warning system, a driver fatigue monitoring system, and six airbags.
Battery safety
Armor batteries have passed the "Extreme Electric Safety Star" certification of the China Automotive Technology and Research Center, including fire walking (900℃ high temperature), -40℃ low temperature immersion and 80℃ high pressure water gun test, without thermal runaway or water seepage.
