Dongfeng Fengshen's new model, the Mage, was launched in Kigali, Rwanda, by Carcarbaba, the official Dongfeng distributor. The Mage boasts strong advantages in technology, exterior design, interior, space, and features. Its hybrid version, the Mage, excels in both performance and fuel economy.

The Mage is a compact SUV with a novel exterior design, especially its continuous headlights, A-shaped daytime running lights, and body contours, giving it a stylish, sporty, and powerful feel. The front even has a futuristic look.

The front fascia, named "Star Trails," consists of numerous radiating vertical lines, a sporty design theme. From the side, it has a low-slung stance, further emphasizing its dynamic appearance. Its dimensions are 4650×1905×1630 mm (length×width×height), with a wheelbase of 2775 mm, which would classify it as a mid-size SUV. The rear seats can be folded in sections, extending to a maximum length of 1.88 meters, resembling a double bed.

In terms of power, the 1.5T engine has a maximum power of 150 kW, a maximum net power of 145 kW, and a maximum torque of 305 Nm. It is paired with a dual-motor front-wheel drive system, with a total motor power of 105 kW and a total motor torque of 210 Nm. The hybrid system has a combined power of 215 kW and a combined torque of 565 Nm. The hybrid system uses a 4-speed transmission, has a top speed of 170 km/h, accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 6.0 seconds, and has a combined fuel consumption of 4.2 liters (NEDC standard) / 4.97 liters (WLTC standard) per 100 km. It uses 92-octane gasoline and has a 51-liter fuel tank.
